General information

Activities in the port of Scheveningen are in full swing. Ample facilities for building cold stores and warehouses are available. The quays are 20 to 30 metres wide and offer sufficient space for goods transhipment and storage. For goods vehicles Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht are less than an hour away. The port of Scheveningen is on the coast about one hour's sailing time from Hook of Holland and IJmuiden. The port is accessible to vessels up to 160 metres in length with a draught of 7.5 metres. Somewhat larger vessels and vessels with a larger draught can enter in consultation with the Harbour Master.

The Outport, which is 190 metres in diameter, is also used to allow vessels to swing round. Freighters and refrigerated ships of around 140 metres are regular visitors to the port of Scheveningen.
